Nike Air Python “Starfish/Starfish-Total Orange”
Riding on the success of 2013, Nike brings the Air Python into the New Year with a popping “Starfish/Starfish-Total Orange” colorway. Spotted late last year on the New York Knicks’ J.R. Smith, it looks like the arresting colorway will be released after all on February 1 exclusively at 21 Mercer. The Nike Air Python Orange features uppers constructed of full-grain leather that’s been debossed with a snakeskin pattern just like the Dover Street Market NY version. Tan leather lines the interior while tonal, reflective accents in the tongue and heel foxing provide a hint of contrast. If the shoe proves to be as big a hit as its predecessors, orange may just overtake red in the statement sneaker game.
