Twitter has announced the shut down of its mobile app #Music — yes, it still existed. The service was pulled from the App Store Friday afternoon and will stop working on devices that already downloaded it on April 18.
The announcement comes just a year after Twitter introduced #Music. The standalone music service sought to help users discover new artists and bands, and despite positive reviews, couldn't compete in the noisy mobile music service space. via Mashable
